Patients’ skin physiology and concerns are unique. Having a variety of professional treatments available to you is essential to providing your patients with optimal results. When carefully selected and combined with PCA SKIN daily care products, our professional treatment options will help your patients achieve healthy, beautiful skin.
This hands-on seminar is designed to give you the tools necessary to select the most appropriate PCA SKIN professional treatment for your patients’ distinct skin concerns. You will maximize your treatment outcomes by learning the art of customizing with your choice of peels and serums. During this 5.5 hour course we will review the benefits, indications and application technique of each PCA SKIN professional treatment. Following this review, each attendee will have the opportunity to perform four of the professional treatment protocols discussed.
Course Outline:
- review of PCA SKIN peel fundamentals and treatment philosophy
- learn the art of customizing with PCA SKIN peels and serums
- review the standard procedures for performing PCA SKIN professional treatments
- learn how to select the appropriate PCA SKIN professional treatment according to your patients’ skin condition, Fitzpatrick type and heredity
- review treatment contraindications and how to avoid complications
- perform four PCA SKIN professional treatments and receive a treatment yourself
In order for everyone to be able to perform a total of four treatments, you will be required to bring a model and be willing and able to receive a treatment during class. Please refer to the preparation for a peel treatment sheet included with your registration materials, so that your skin is properly prepared for a treatment.
Space is limited to 12 attendees per class.
The peel fundamentals: a hands-on course is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m
In order to ensure that all PCA SKIN Certified Professionals have the most most up-to-date scientific and technical information available, we require that each attendee at the skin biology & chemical peel seminar take and pass an online certification exam prior to receiving their certificate. The exam is open book and based on what the educator teaches in the seminar. Once certified, re-certification will be required on a bi-annual basis beginning December 31, 2011. Attending this new hands-on course and passing the associated exam will qualify you for re-certificaiton with PCA SKIN for 2 years.
